The “Workshop on Geometric Design, Physical Simulation and Their Integration” was successfully held at the Tianyuan Mathematics Research Center from July 20 to July 26, 2025. This event was co-organized by Prof. Falai Chen from the University of Science and Technology of China and Prof. Xiaohong Jia from the Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences. 

Aims:

The goal of this conference was to provide an interdisciplinary platform for the discussion and exchange of recent advances in computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided engineering (CAE). By bringing together researchers from both theoretical and applied fields, the conference focused on addressing key challenges and exploring future directions in geometric modeling, physical simulation, and their integration.

Topics:

The conference covered a wide range of topics, including but not limited to: 

· Geometric modeling

· Physical simulation

· CAD-CAE integration

· Isogeometric analysis

· Topology optimization

· Tool path planning and advanced manufacturing

The program included plenary talks, invited talks, panel discussions, group discussion of young researchers, and free discussions, facilitating both technical depth and informal idea exchange.
